The four-seat VW Taigun is powered by a new 1.0-litre TSI engine with 81 kW /110 PS ; its combined fuel consumption is 4.7 l/100 km (110 g/km CO2). The efficient powerplant extends the line-up of three-cylinder petrol engines, adding direct fuel injection plus turbo technology. Volkswagen is writing a new chapter in its downsizing strategy here.
